See and manage your entire network

Endpoints are only half the estate. Switches, routers, firewalls, printers, access points, and the devices nobody registered all carry operational and security risk — and most of them will never run an agent. Monitic puts them on the same console as your endpoints: SNMP telemetry, agent-side discovery, IP address management, and firewall policy visibility, on per-endpoint plans instead of a separate network monitoring contract.

Nothing unmanaged. Agent-side discovery surfaces every device on the network, including the ones without agents, so shadow assets stop turning up as audit findings.

One console, no second tool. SNMP, IPAM, DHCP, exporters, and firewalls live next to your endpoints, patches, and tickets. No swivel-chair between an RMM and a network monitor.

Answers, not just graphs. When traffic is blocked, the firewall policy lookup names the rule responsible and renders a verdict — a diagnosis, not a packet-capture project.

SNMP monitoring for switches, routers, and everything in between

Monitor any SNMP-capable device with v1, v2c, and v3 support, and stream OID values live per device when you need to watch a value change in real time. Build the sensor set that matters for each device — interface throughput, CPU, PSU state, temperature — and alert on thresholds.

  • SNMP v1/v2c/v3, including authenticated and encrypted v3 profiles
  • Live OID streaming per device for real-time diagnosis
  • Per-device sensor model with threshold alerting

Network discovery that finds what your agents can't

Every Monitic agent doubles as a discovery probe on its own network segment. It finds the devices that have no agent — printers, cameras, IoT, the switch someone installed years ago — and feeds them into your asset inventory automatically.

  • Agent-side discovery: no scanner appliance, no dedicated hardware
  • Agentless device visibility across every segment an agent touches
  • Discovered devices flow straight into inventory and reporting

IPAM and DHCP monitoring built in

Track your address space with integrated IP address management, and watch DHCP scopes and leases through your firewall integrations — utilization, exhaustion risk, and lease activity without another point product.

Status pages, exporters, and anomaly detection

Publish hosted status pages for the services your organization depends on. Scrape Prometheus exporters and get dashboards plus metric anomaly detection on top — infrastructure metrics without assembling a monitoring stack from parts.

Firewall visibility with a verdict engine

Monitic integrates with FortiGate, OPNsense, Sophos, and SonicWall for monitoring and policy visibility. The firewall policy lookup answers the question that consumes help-desk hours — why is this traffic blocked, or allowed — and traces the verdict to the exact rule. Full detail lives in firewall management.

How it works

Deploy the same agent you already use for endpoint management. Agents discover their segments and poll SNMP devices; firewall integrations connect over their native APIs. Everything lands in one data model, so a discovered switch, its SNMP sensors, and the firewall in front of it appear as one picture — and alerts route into the same console and ticketing as everything else.

Setup guides are in the network monitoring docs.

Who runs Monitic network monitoring

Internal IT teams use it to retire the standalone network monitor and the firewall console in one move — see Monitic for internal IT. The result is the work of six tools at one endpoint price; see pricing for tiers.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Monitic monitor devices that can't run an agent?

Yes. Agent-side network discovery finds agentless devices, and SNMP monitoring covers anything that speaks SNMP v1, v2c, or v3 — switches, routers, UPS units, printers, storage.

Do I need a separate network monitoring tool alongside my RMM?

No. Network monitoring is a module of the Monitic platform, on the same agent and console as endpoint management, patching, and ticketing.

Which firewalls does Monitic integrate with?

FortiGate, OPNsense, Sophos, and SonicWall — monitoring, policy visibility, DHCP scope and lease data, and the policy lookup diagnostic.

How is network monitoring priced?

It is part of the platform, with per-endpoint plans. See pricing — and every module is included in the full-featured 14-day trial.
